Choosing Rides For Your Event
Everyone would like a Genuine Victorian Carousel at their event, but there are a few points to consider.
A Victorian Carousel is supplied on two heavy goods vehicles averaging 7 M.P.G. Additionally they will have a staff of around 5 men to erect and dismantle them. Add to this the insurance costs, power to generate them and general wear and tear and you can see that the daily operating costs are quite significant. This makes them one of the more expensive rides to hire.
Because of the complexity they take anything upto 6 hours to erect, so they are not suitable for events with limited time access.
If you do hire a carousel, you get one of the most ornate, elegant and spectacular rides available on the fairground. Perfectly suited to events ranging from a college ball to an upmarket wedding, the carousel epitomises not only the golden age of the fairground, but also that age of empire, when Britain led the world in most things and Victoria sat on the throne.
